ART EFFECT
September 25, 2015 - My Style
I am so excited to write about the adorable Lincoln Park store -Art Effect.
Located on Armitage Avenue Art Effect can be “one stop shop”. They have a great selection of women’s clothing, jewelry, and accessories alongside unique home decor. You can find their gifts for every occasion, things that are funny, whimsical, even my favorites, the eccentric ones!
Esther Fish man opened Art Effect in 1984 to sell her artist-friend’s clothing and jewelry. The shop has evolved over the years becoming a true shopping destination and modern-day general store with a chic high-low mix. Jewelry cases feature fun statement pieces at affordable prices and boast a carefully curated selection of handcrafted treasures from designers including Uno de 50, Melissa Joy Manning and Julie Rofman. Clothing offerings range from perfect basics including Michael Stars tees and Splendid leggings to killer jeans from Henry & Belle and dresses from Bailey 44 and Velvet.
“We try to do trends, but things that can also go forward, that you’ll have in your closet for a long time,” -Esther Fishman.
